Trademark Attorney/Paralegal

Plesner is looking for a new Trademark Attorney/Paralegal to join our growing Trademark Team. Do you have a keen eye for detail, enjoy creating structure and maintaining an overview, and want to work with Danish and international trademark portfolios?

At Plesner, you will become part of a highly skilled and well-functioning Trademark Team. Trademark Attorneys/Paralegals, attorneys-at-law and assistant attorneys work closely together to protect and develop our clients' brands.

You will have a varied working day with independent responsibility, close professional sparring and excellent opportunities for both professional and personal development.

About the position

You will play a key role in the day-to-day administration and coordination of our clients' Danish and international trademark and design portfolios.

Your responsibilities will include:

• preparing and handling correspondence with clients, authorities and foreign associates;

• coordinating filings, renewals and other administrative processes;

• monitoring and managing deadlines;

• creating, maintaining and quality-assuring case and portfolio data in our systems;

• conducting information and register searches; and

• contributing to efficient workflows and ensuring that matters progress in a timely and effective manner.

Depending on your experience and interests, you will also have the opportunity to work with trademark clearance searches, registration strategies, opposition and cancellation proceedings, as well as advising clients on the registration and protection of trademarks in Denmark and internationally.

We are currently streamlining a number of our workflows through the use of AI tools, and you will also be expected to contribute to this work.

About you

We imagine that you have experience with trademarks, IP administration or other relevant legal or administrative case management.

We are looking for someone who:

• works in a structured and meticulous manner, with a strong focus on both details and deadlines;

• enjoys working independently while also valuing close collaboration with colleagues;

• communicates clearly and confidently in both Danish and English, in writing as well as verbally; and

• is curious about technology and uses AI and other digital tools.
